The Short Version

Between July 2025 and June 2026, Hola Prime's organic MQLs grew 16x, from 416 to 6,892 a month, and Google Search clicks rose 481% to 38,899 a month. Over the same period, MADX ran technical SEO audits, keyword mapping, a funnel-based content plan and compliance-safe link building for the prop trading firm.

Those figures come straight from Hola Prime's own Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console accounts. Across the engagement, organic search delivered 34,851 MQLs and 51,121 completed registrations. Third-party data points the same way: Ahrefs estimates organic traffic grew 114x, from 80 to 9,127 monthly visitors by September 2026, although its model undercounts real visits, as the comparison further down shows.

Client Background

Hola Prime is a proprietary trading firm. Traders pay for an evaluation challenge in Forex or Futures, and those who pass get a simulated funded account with a profit split. Its headline differentiator is speed: the firm processes approved payouts within one hour.

Prop trading is a crowded, trust-sensitive category. Traders compare firms on payout reliability, rule clarity and pricing, and they read forums and reviews before they buy a challenge. That makes search visibility for brand and comparison queries a direct revenue lever, not a vanity metric.

Hola Prime came to MADX in mid-2025 for a fully managed programme: technical SEO, content strategy and production, digital PR and monthly link building. It sits squarely in the kind of fintech SEO work where trust signals decide who ranks.

The Challenges

When the engagement started in July 2025, Hola Prime had brand demand but little reach beyond it. Google Search Console recorded 6,700 clicks at an average position of 47.6, and GA4 logged 19,442 organic search sessions. Ahrefs, which models traffic from the keywords it tracks, estimated just 80 monthly visitors, with 4 keywords on page one and none in the top 3. The domain had a Domain Rating of 16 and 508 referring domains.

Three problems stood out.

Commercial searches were out of reach. In July 2025 Hola Prime sat at an average Search Console position of 58.7 for "futures prop firms", 52.8 for "fastest payout prop firm" and 84.9 for "instant funding prop firm". Traders comparing firms simply weren't seeing it.

Crawl and indexing basics needed checking. The site was mid-rebuild, with several pages still being updated. Robots.txt, the XML sitemap and overall site health all needed a full audit before content or links could pay off, and the team had flagged a "lookalike" warning they wanted investigated.

Authority had to be built inside tight rules. Hola Prime operates under strict marketing compliance. No promises of profit, no investment advice, no attacks on competitors and no hype. Link building also had to avoid betting and gambling sites and a client-supplied list of excluded domains, which rules out a large share of the easy placements in trading-adjacent niches.

Why Is SEO Harder for a Prop Trading Firm?

Prop firm SEO is fintech SEO with extra constraints. Google classes financial subjects as Your Money or Your Life topics, so pages need clear trust signals, accurate claims and authoritative links before they rank. At the same time, the US results for "futures prop firms" are crowded with review and comparison sites competing with the firms themselves for the same commercial clicks.

Three things make it different from a typical SaaS programme. First, copy and anchor text must stay neutral and non-promotional, which limits the aggressive commercial optimisation that works in other verticals. Second, the pool of acceptable link sources is smaller, because gambling-adjacent and low-trust finance sites are off the table. Third, a big share of buying intent runs through reputation queries like payout speed, rules and reviews, so the brand has to own those results as well as the head terms.

That shaped the plan. Fix the foundations, map every priority query to one page, publish content that answers trust questions plainly, and earn links only from sites that pass a compliance check.

Our Approach

1. Technical, robots.txt and sitemap audits

In August 2025 MADX delivered a full technical SEO audit covering website health, a robots.txt audit and a sitemap.xml audit, alongside a backlink audit and a content audit. Hola Prime's development team applied the fixes and updated the reports, and MADX scheduled a second round of robots and sitemap checks to confirm them. We also investigated the lookalike warning the client had raised.

This is the same technical SEO sequence we run for every new engagement: make sure Google can crawl and index the pages that matter before scaling content or links.

2. Keyword mapping and a funnel-based content plan

Next came keyword mapping, which assigned every priority query to a single target page so the homepage, product pages and blog posts stopped competing with each other. On top of that, the content team built a topic-led plan split into top, middle and bottom of funnel, at Hola Prime's request.

The plan leaned into the questions traders actually ask before choosing a firm: how fast payouts arrive, what the rules really mean, how futures challenges compare, and how to trade with discipline. All of it fed a 12-month growth roadmap covering technical SEO, content, backlinks and digital PR, and the programme included five pieces of content a month written with AI assistance and human editing.

3. Link building and digital PR inside compliance limits

The link building programme combined premium placements on DR30+ and DR40+ sites with a steady flow of supporting links. Before outreach started, MADX ran a backlink project questionnaire and waited for Hola Prime's list of domains to avoid. When some prospects turned out to be on that list, we replaced them rather than push them through.

Alongside the links, the scope included one press release distribution per quarter through our digital PR team. Anchor text stayed natural and non-promotional throughout, in line with the client's compliance guidelines.

4. Reporting, AI visibility and a second technical pass

From early 2026 the programme added a Looker Studio dashboard fed by GA4 and Search Console, plus an AI sentiment report in June 2026. In August 2026 a fresh technical audit caught canonical tag errors, duplicate homepage versions and a staging environment that search engines could index. We split the findings into high and low priority so the development team could fix what moves rankings first.

Estimate versus actual, same two months. Ahrefs figures are modelled; Search Console and GA4 figures are Hola Prime's first-party data.

Ahrefs only counts keywords in its own database and applies modelled click-through rates, so it undercounted Hola Prime's real starting point by a wide margin. That's why the 114x estimate is bigger than the actual growth in clicks and sessions, and why we show both.

Rankings, Ahrefs data: page-one keywords from 4 to 104

In July 2025 Ahrefs tracked 4 Hola Prime keywords on Google's first page and none in the top 3. By November 2025 that was 43 page-one keywords, and by July 2026 it reached 104, with 83 in the top 3. As of September 2026 the count sits at 61, so there's work left to hold the peak.

According to Ahrefs, the brand now ranks #1 for "hola prime" in 13 country markets, including the US, UK, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Brazil, Pakistan, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Germany. The localised /id, /pt and /de pages hold #1 in Indonesia, Brazil and Germany, a reminder that every locale works as its own international SEO target.

Non-branded wins matter more for new customer acquisition. Ahrefs shows Hola Prime at #1 in the US for "best prop firms for futures" (1,300 searches a month) and "micro vs mini futures" (350), #1 in Canada for "futures prop firms", #1 in Japan for "プロップとは" (1,000) and #2 in India for "instant funding prop firm" (16,000).

Commercial queries moved from page six to page one (actual, Google Search Console)

Search Console shows where the commercial progress landed. Between July 2025 and June 2026, "futures prop firms" moved from an average position of 58.7 to 7.3 and "futures prop firm" from 59.4 to 7.0. Google also switched the ranking URL for "futures prop firms" from the homepage to the dedicated futures page, a sign the keyword mapping did its job.

Referring domains grew from 508 in July 2025 to 3,347 in August 2026, and Domain Rating rose from 16 to 48 over the same period. Those totals include every site linking to Hola Prime, not only MADX placements. The premium and supporting links MADX built are part of that total.

What didn't go to plan

Growth wasn't a straight line. After peaking in June 2026, Google Search clicks fell to 30,000 in July and 23,661 in August, and organic MQLs dropped from 6,892 to 4,530 and then 2,809. "Instant funding prop firm" reached an average Search Console position of 7.9 in December 2025 but slipped to 15.2 by June 2026. And the Ahrefs estimate showed a sharp dip to 299 in May 2026 that doesn't appear in Search Console or GA4 at all, which is exactly why we don't rely on estimates alone.

Where Does Hola Prime Show Up in AI Search?

AI assistants increasingly answer the "which prop firm should I use" question before a trader ever clicks a result. According to Ahrefs Brand Radar data, Hola Prime was cited 48 times across AI platforms on 1 January 2026, on 27 distinct pages. By September 2026 that had grown to 129 citations across 67 pages, up 169%.

Google's AI surfaces drove most of the gain. Google AI Mode went from 0 to 61 citations and AI Overviews from 0 to 18, while Perplexity rose from 1 to 10 and Gemini from 5 to 8. ChatGPT moved the other way, from 23 citations to 3, which is why we track each platform separately in our GEO and AI search work rather than reporting one blended number. If you want the playbook, our guide on how to rank in AI search results covers it.

Site-Wide Context From GA4

Organic search is one channel among several for Hola Prime. Across all channels, GA4 recorded 5,063,847 total users and 1,849,593 key events between 1 January and 10 September 2026, up 187% and 108% on the same period of 2025. Those totals include paid, affiliate, referral and direct traffic, so MADX doesn't claim them as SEO results. The dashboard view below is the client's own Looker Studio report.

How We Measured These Results

Actual data. Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position come from Google Search Console for the holaprime.com domain property. Sessions, users, MQLs and completed registrations come from Hola Prime's GA4 property, filtered to the Organic Search default channel group, where MQLs and registrations are key events counted in organic sessions. The "Registration Completed" event stopped reporting after June 2026, so registration figures run to June.

Ahrefs estimates. Organic traffic, keyword rankings, referring domains and Domain Rating come from Ahrefs Site Explorer for holaprime.com including subdomains. AI citation counts come from Ahrefs Brand Radar, comparing 1 January 2026 with September 2026. Treat Ahrefs traffic as a trend line, not a visit count.

Two caveats. Part of Hola Prime's organic search comes from people looking for the brand by name, and brand demand also depends on the firm's wider marketing. And MADX worked alongside Hola Prime's own marketing and development team, who implemented the technical changes on the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much did Hola Prime's organic search grow with MADX?

Between July 2025 and June 2026, Google Search Console clicks rose 481%, from 6,700 to 38,899 a month, and GA4 organic MQLs grew 16x, from 416 to 6,892. Ahrefs estimates organic traffic grew 114x, from 80 to 9,127 monthly visitors, by September 2026.

What did MADX do for Hola Prime?

MADX ran technical, robots.txt, sitemap, backlink and content audits, mapped priority keywords to target pages, and built a funnel-based content plan and 12-month roadmap. The programme also covered monthly premium and supporting link building, quarterly press release distribution, reporting dashboards and AI sentiment tracking.

How long did it take to see SEO results?

The audits ran in August 2025. By November 2025 Search Console clicks had nearly doubled to 13,358 a month and Ahrefs tracked 43 page-one keywords. The biggest gains came between March and June 2026, when monthly clicks rose from 32,073 to 38,899 and organic MQLs from 4,341 to 6,892.

Why are Ahrefs traffic numbers different from Google Search Console?

Ahrefs estimates traffic from the keywords in its database and modelled click-through rates, while Search Console counts real clicks. For Hola Prime in June 2026, Ahrefs estimated 1,361 organic visitors while Search Console recorded 38,899 clicks. Both showed growth, but only Search Console and GA4 measure actual visits.

Is SEO for prop trading firms different from other fintech SEO?

Yes. Prop firms work under strict marketing compliance, so content and anchor text must avoid profit promises, investment advice and competitor attacks. Link sources are narrower because gambling-adjacent sites are excluded, and a lot of buying intent runs through reputation queries about payouts and rules.

Does Hola Prime appear in AI search results?

Yes. Ahrefs Brand Radar recorded 129 AI citations across 67 Hola Prime pages in September 2026, up from 48 in January 2026. Google AI Mode led with 61 citations, followed by Google AI Overviews with 18 and Perplexity with 10.

Key Takeaways

1. Report estimates and actuals side by side, and label both

Ahrefs put Hola Prime's traffic growth at 114x. Search Console and GA4 put clicks at +481% and MQLs at 16x. All three are real data, but they measure different things. Third-party tools give competitive context and first-party data ties to pipeline, so every number here carries its source.

2. Keyword mapping is what turns rankings into commercial rankings

Google swapping the homepage for the dedicated futures page on "futures prop firms", while the average position moved from 58.7 to 7.3, is the clearest sign of the method working. One query, one page, and the page that converts is the one that ranks.

3. Compliance limits change the tactics, not the outcome

Excluding gambling-adjacent link sources and keeping copy neutral made the work slower, but referring domains still grew 559% and organic MQLs grew 16x. Regulated niches reward patience. If you're in one, start with a free AI SEO audit.
